Job Description

The Talent Coordinator supports the Talent/Human Resources team in delivering efficient and effective Talent services across the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day Talent operations, maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about fostering positive employee experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain employee records in HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding Talent policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support Talent projects and initiatives, including employee engagement, training, and performance management.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Talent leadership as needed.

 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a Talent support or administrative role.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and Talent best practices.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Hybrid role, currently 3 days per week in the office.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
  • The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates
  • While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday
  • This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of the workday
  • This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/or mobile devices
