Job Description

We are seeking experienced Servers to join our dynamic hospitality team. Servers at Little Maven play a crucial role in delivering unparalleled dining experiences, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring every visit is memorable. This position requires a passion for hospitality, impeccable attention to detail, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.

  • Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to guests throughout their dining experience.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing knowledge of menu offerings and recommendations.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following service standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Anticipate guest needs and preferences, proactively addressing any requests or concerns to enhance their dining experience.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate order execution and timing.
  • Maintain a polished appearance and demeanor at all times, adhering to grooming and uniform standards.
  • Assist with table setup, breakdown, and general cleanliness of the dining area to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle payments, process transactions, and reconcile checks accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to create a cohesive team environment and uphold service standards.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty through personalized service and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Server in a high-end restaurant is preferred but not essential 
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine service and cocktail preparation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with grace under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and a genuine interest in culinary arts and hospitality.
