Position Summary

Located in North America's wind belt, Davenport proudly stands at the forefront of renewable electricity technology. Our factory works to do our part to care for the environment, like investing in renewable electricity, conserving water and maintaining zero waste for disposal.  Since 1927, it has been home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities. Originally focused on cereal production, the factory transitioned to become a pet food-only manufacturer in the late '90s. Today, it holds the distinction of being the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S. With utmost care, our dedicated team in Davenport produces, packages, and ships a wide range of our beloved brands including Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Purina ONE®, Cat Chow®, Friskies®, and Kit N Kaboodle®. 

As a Senior Human Resources Coordinator, you’ll be the face of Human Resources while always maintaining a customer-centric focus. You’ll support Human Resources Management and will primarily specialize in security and employee engagement. Make a positive impact on people and pets as you support our site security systems including key management and electronic access.

  • Process necessary steps to pre-board and on-board new employees and transfers (SuccessFactors).
  • Prepare new hire materials including uniform ordering, swag items, and locker assignments. This includes coordinating efforts associated with the uniform program.
  • Maintain and update exit interview logs, terminations, employee handbooks, OJT’s, code-a-phone, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records for all security, Kronos cards, keys, fobs, parking tags, locker assignments/locks and security card system.
  • Act as lead for activities committee and be point of contact for community outreach and volunteer opportunities.
  • Maintain contracts for corporate sponsorships.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of human resources or administrative experience in a manufacturing, production, or related environment
  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite


The approximate pay range for this position is $51,000 to $67,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
