If you possess this desire and a background in contracting with Provider and Payor experience this is the opportunity you have been seeking!ChristianaCare seeks Senior Directors, Managed Care Contracting and Payor Relations to join our Enterprise Contracting and Payor Relations team these individuals will negotiate with and form an integrated healthcare delivery system for traditional fee for service and value based and risk contracting.PLEASE NOTE - We are looking for a local candidate who can be on-site at least 2 days per week. Please only apply if you are local or willing to relocate.The successful candidate is responsible for:Leading negotiations for new and renewal of major payer contractual agreements within a portfolio of private and public sector third-party payorsSupports the VP, Enterprise Contracting & Payor Relations in the development of a spectrum of value-based programs and/or alternative payment models across entities within the organization - CCHS, CCHI, CIN, Union, DCMFM, CCVNA, etc.Identifies revenue improvement opportunities and prepares recommendations for profitability optimization in conjunction with and operational issues within third-party agreementsDevelops and maintains good working relationships with major third-party payors and CCHS senior administrative and clinical leadershipCollaborates across the organization including, but not limited to, finance, legal, population health management, clinical operationsEducation and experience requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Finance from an accredited university.Minimum of ten (10)years of contracting experience with a Provider or PayorExperience negotiating with or for private/public sector third party payers for traditional fee for service and value based and risk contractingHealthcare insurance product and regulatory knowledge within ACA, Commercial, Medicare, Medicare Advantage and State Medicaid programsChristianaCare BenefitsIncredible Work/Life benefits including annual membership to care.com, access to backup care services for dependents through Care@Work, retirement planning services, financial coaching, fitness and wellness reimbursement, and phenomenal discounts through several vendors for hotels, rental cars, theme parks, shows, sporting events, movie tickets, etc.We also provide tuition assistance for degreed programs.
