Job Description

Background:

Our client is implementing Opkey , an automated testing platform for ERP applications, specifically Oracle Fusion ERP . We are seeking a part-time Opkey Consultant with hands-on experience in leading or supporting Opkey implementations. This role will function as the project lead , coordinating between the client's internal teams and the Opkey vendor to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the project manager and subject matter expert (SME) for the Opkey platform implementation.
• Work closely with technical and functional Oracle Fusion teams to define, document, and prioritize test cases.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the Opkey vendor team to ensure all implementation milestones are met.
• Identify key project tasks, dependencies, and deliverables for the implementation.
• Facilitate and lead project meetings with stakeholders from IT and business units.
• Provide clear and effective communication and reporting on project status, risks, and issues.
• Escalate critical issues to the appropriate stakeholders and suggest solutions proactively.
• Support user enablement and present the Opkey solution to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assist in test planning , execution oversight, and reporting using the Opkey platform.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in ERP implementations, including project management and testing coordination roles.
• At least 2 Opkey implementation experiences specifically for Oracle Fusion ERP (public sector or local government projects preferred).
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks , especially in ERP environments.
• Excellent understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP modules , business processes, and test lifecycle.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and drive successful outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to executives and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with change management, quality assurance, and risk mitigation in testing environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in public sector / local government ERP projects .
• Previous experience in a sales engineering or pre-sales capacity is a strong plus.
• PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or other ITSM/test management platforms.

Engagement Details:

• Part-time , remote position (flexible hours with availability during US working hours for key meetings)
• Duration: 3 6 months , with potential for extension
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate , DOE (Depending on Experience)
