Job Description

Salary: $1988 / Week The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs tests for patientdiagnosis, progress or deterioration and medical research. The Nuclear MedicineTechnologist prepares and gives radiopharmaceuticals to patients when indicatedand uses high-level imaging equipment to record images of the radioactivematerial in the patient's body. TheNuclear Medicine Technologist works in collaboration with physicians to providethe images for interpretation to study and diagnose a medical condition. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist gives dosesof radiation to patients internally to treat various medical conditions whenprescribed by a physician. The NuclearMedicine Technologist participates in a variety of technical tasks, tests anddeterminations involving the utilization of radioactive materials andmeasurement instrumentation.
