Job Description

Our successful hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with a sales mindset to assist in growing our hotel. You will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience at our hotel, in addition to attracting new guests to increase our revenue. You'll be in charge of responding to guest inquiries, contacting potential new guests based on networking and referral leads, and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills as well as previous sales experience. Please apply as soon as possible if this describes you! Responsibilities: • Prepare sales presentations and support materials for prospective customers, such as suitable event space, dining and catering services, hotel bookings, and access to relevant facilities • Create a list of business and referral leads through research and networking and make preliminary pitches • Maximize profits by selling more and providing upgrades to guests to ensure they are completely satisfied • Manage schedules, file important documents, and communicate relevant information from the sales team to stakeholders and hotel departments • Establish and maintain communication with customers via phone and email to answer their inquiries and requests Qualifications: • Proven track record of sales success • Exhibits superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities • Stays organized and manage time well • Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field is a plus About Company: Elevate your stay at Marriott Tacoma Downtown.
