Description:
The Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) is seeking to fill one (1) SAP BASIS Consultant position. This role provides technical support for the Mississippi Accountability System for Government Information and Collaboration (MAGIC) , the State of Mississippi s ERP solution based on SAP software .
The MAGIC system supports over 120+ State agencies for financial, procurement, grants management, and reporting functions. It has been in production since 2015. The State also uses SAP SuccessFactors for Human Capital Management (HCM).
The consultant will support both SAP On-Premise applications and SAP cloud-based SuccessFactors software .
Required Skills / ExperienceCandidates must have the following:
Five (5) years of experience with SAP BASIS administration and technical core tasks, including software installation, upgrades, support packages, patching, workload analysis, system error analysis, performance monitoring, and maintenance of multiple landscapes.
Five (5) years of experience working with an operational system for a Public Sector client .
Five (5) years of experience with Linux/DB2 and Windows/MSSQL .
Additional technical experience or previous supervisory experience may be helpful.
Experience with WebLogic or similar systems is considered a plus.
Beginner: 1 2 years
Intermediate: 3 5 years
Advanced: 5 7 years
SME: 7+ years
