Established in 1977, Schwob Building Company has continued to bring successful services to our clients in the automotive, aviation, warehouse/distribution, manufacturing, trucking/transportation and service & maintenance facilities. By specializing in these niche areas of design, bid and construction, we are better able to understand our clients’ needs and operational goals .

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager, and only candidates with relevant experience working with a General Contractor will be considered.

Key Result Areas and Accountabilities

• Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals
• Assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed
• Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution
• Overview project goals and ensure project goals are achievable
• Liaise with project lead and other project managers to maintain project schedule and efficacy
• Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals
• Review project implementation and gather data on project execution
• Coordinate with project managers and other project leads following project execution
• Quality control
• Project closeout
• Client satisfaction

Requirements:

• Construction Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction required
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Strong written skills
• 5+ years experience in Construction (preferred) with a minimum 5+ years overall experience
• Ability to think outside the box
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Construction software experience, preferably Procore & Microsoft Project
