In the realm of Pakistani higher education, a prevailing challenge has been identified—a substantial portion of our esteemed teaching faculty within universities often lack direct industry engagement. This results in a gap between the subjects taught and their practical applications within the local professional landscape. Students frequently find themselves grappling with inquiries regarding the alignment of their coursework with industry demands. However, the teaching faculty’s ability to address these concerns sometimes falls short of students’ expectations.
At Ponder Alliance, we recognize the significance of
nurturing a seamless connection between academia and industry. To alleviate
these challenges, we have devised a distinctive solution that places industry
professionals—members of our alliance—at the heart of students’ career journey.
Ponder Alliance Organizing Team organizes public career guidance session every two months at some reachable venue (such as NIC at NED University or Sir Syed University) for students in Karachi.
